Communication
We use email to touch base with you before, during and after your session and ordering appointment. Please ensure we have a valid email address on file. If you need to reach us directly you can also call or text Marianne: 815-603-8450
During the pre- and post-session process we ask you to complete online forms including your client agreement. Links to these forms will be sent via email.
Your Viewing Period & Gallery
Viewing periods vary by session type:
- Signature Sessions: 3-4 viewing days with gallery, followed by a phone or video call ordering session as arranged via your 1st Step to Ordering email.
- Mini Sessions: 2 viewing days with gallery, followed by a phone or video call ordering session as arranged via your 1st Step to Ordering email.
Our slideshow and thumbnail-based preview system is best viewed on a computer and may not have full functionality on handheld devices.
Gallery extensions are available upon request: $50 for 3 additional days beyond your viewing period. Gallery reposting incurs a $25 reposting fee plus any applicable extension fees.
Archiving
• Ordered images will be kept on file for one year from your ordering date, barring drive crashes or acts of God.
• Unordered images are held for 30 days after gallery release.
Pricing
Pricing menus received after booking are good for 30 days following session completion. After this period pricing is subject to change.
Bonus Items
Purchases over $995 (pretax) are eligible for bonus only gifts. Information on bonus items will be provided at the time of your viewing appointment.
- Level 1: $995 – $1,700 – Websized sharing images
- Level 2: $1,701 – $2,200 – 1 item from Bonus list + websized sharing images
- Level 3: $2,201 – $2,700 – 2 items from Bonus list + websized sharing images
- Level 4: $2,701 – $3,200 – 3 items from Bonus list + websized sharing images
- Level 5: $3,201 – $4,000 – 4 items from Bonus list + websized sharing images
- Level 6: $4,001+ – 4 items from Bonus list + websized sharing images + complimentary future session fee
*Websized sharing images are optimized for online viewing only and are lightly watermarked. Up to 6 people within two calendar years of order date are eligible for the complimentary future session fee.
Scheduling
We respect your time and energy and ask that you respect ours. The limited nature of our photography and client work means session fees are nonrefundable but transferrable to the first rescheduled date. Any reschedules after the first will be at our discretion and subject to a cancellation fee over and above the paid session fee.
Payments
Following your ordering session we will invoice you via PayPal. We also accept payment via Venmo and Zelle, or by check payable to Marianne Drenthe.
Copyright & Image Usage
All images created by Marmalade Photography are protected under Federal Copyright Law. We kindly ask that you abide by these laws by refraining from copying photos via screen capture, scanning prints, or any manner of graphic capture. To screencap, copy, reprint or share images online without permission or credit back to Marmalade Photography is a violation of Federal Law.
For any purchased images we are happy to send you a watermarked websized file for online use only – suitable for social media or email use. We ask that you keep our watermark intact and credit Marmalade Photography for the creation of the image. This protects you as the client as well as our work.
During Your Session
To keep distractions to a minimum, cameras and other recording devices are prohibited during your session.
Agreement
By signing your client agreement you acknowledge that you have received and understand these policies and agree to these terms and conditions.
